Limelight Magazine’s 2021 Australian Artist of the Year and Creative Partnership Australia’s 2021 Arts Leader of the Year Chris Howlett is a cellist and Artistic Director. He studied cello in Vienna, New York and London and won prizes at a number of prestigious chamber music competitions in Europe. He is known for his exciting and genuine performances with his recordings going number 1 on the Australian Classical Itunes charts. Chris is an Artistic Director of two chamber music festivals and founded Australian Digital Concert Hall (ADCH) to enable artists to continue to perform during the pandemic. ADCH has now supported 1500 artists, presented 450 live concerts and raised almost $2 million dollars since March 2020.
