Gleason Magic

Location: North America

✈️ Los Angeles

Shows: 2 x 50 min

Gregory first became interested in magic when he was 13 years old, after watching a TV magic special starring Doug Henning.  He was so impressed by the feeling of wonder he experienced while watching Mr. Henning at work, it prompted his father to buy him a magic kit.  He started reading books about magic from the school library and began to master the art of close-up magic and stage illusions.

Gregory continued studying and performing magic throughout high school and college. During Gregory’s college years, he performed close-up magic in fine restaurants, at private parties, at corporate events, and on TV.  After graduating from Washburn University, with a double major in finance and economics, he accepted a position with the number one nightclub chain in the country to perform both his close-up magic and stage illusions. They were so impressed by him, that they offered him the position of Entertainment Director.

Greg was chosen from over 300 submissions to perform “The Wizard’s Secret” illusion show at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.  It was there he performed a record-breaking 8500 shows in less than 3 years.  During the run at the MGM they also made an appearance on “The Tonight Show” starring Jay Leno.

After the completion of their contract at the MGM in 1996, Gregory and Kristi were honored to be given an invitation from the Chinese government to perform in a Las Vegas-style review show at the Great Shanghai International Club in Shanghai.

Since returning from China, Gregory has been in constant demand to perform his illusion show, close-up magic, and mindreading shows for major showrooms, luxury cruise lines, exclusive nightclubs, and major corporations. You may have seen him perform his unique and original illusions on the national television show “Masters of Illusion” or headlining with his wife in the grand illusion show “Gleason Magic…Embrace the Mystery” at the Venetian Hotel.
